Watch the
sun rise on Mono lake; it will not be difficult for you to realize

Scott drove
up with a hang-dog look and a span of mules, two "desert
birds" drawing a fine buckboard with camp equipment. He
introduced me to Molly and Kitty and I climbed in.

do full justice to the loveliness of such an enchanted spot.
By mule and motor, the traveler along El Camino Sierra penetrates
to these fastnesses of beauty - and trout.
